Sadly, a high fire danger prevented the 2006 Renaissance in the Pines from happening, but 2007 went on without a hitch. The weather wasn't as cool as everyone would have liked, but it was MUCH cooler than the Valley, so there weren't many complaints. Well, not a lot of complaints about the temperature, anyway. The dust, on the otherhand... Let's just say that our reference to this event as "Renaissance in the Dust" was backed up as strongly as ever. Oh, and Captain Jack Sparrow debuted his new pirate garb.
