Greyhounds of Fairhaven helped celebrate the 89th Annual Be Kind To Animals Week by participating in the 1st Annual Animal Rescue & Animal Exhibit at Bookman's Bookstore. The event was sponsored by the Small Bird Rescue & Retirement Center, and attended by a number of rescue groups including the National Turtle / Tortoise Rescue & Rehabilitation, Wild Horse Ranch Rescue, and Pig Palooza, all of whom helped promote this year’s theme “Kindness Through Action.”
